    "I opted for GJR for my child, who is about to complete first grade. I am delighted that my child looks forward to going to school every day. He is genuinely happy at school, and the difference I’ve noticed is that he enjoys learning. Every day, he comes home with something interesting to share. Being an IB school for PYP, he has developed good communication, presentation and research skills and is willing to approach tasks independently. He learns literacy skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada alongside Math, Science, and Arts through a Unit of Inquiry, where the teacher and students collaboratively explore a topic or theme. For example, the recent topic was "Seasons and their Effects on Animals." My child explored the Grizzly bear in depth, learning about hibernation and the seasonal changes on bears. He presented his findings to the class through drawings and notes and also learned about other animals from his classmates. Using this topic, the teacher integrated literacy skills with Math and Science, fostering high student participation and focus in class activities and encouraging child's natural curiosity. The teachers are well-trained and adept at guiding each child individually. My child’s teacher, Miss Shakshi, is an excellent facilitator. In sports, they emphasise essential skills such as hand-eye coordination and movements for young children, along with sports like football, basketball, and skating. He also engages in drawing, singing, dancing and story telling as part of visual and performing arts. The Principal, Neelam Ravi, has created a well-disciplined and nurturing environment for the children to grow. In the future, it would be wonderful if they added the IB MYP program and expanded their sports offerings to include badminton and cricket, as they already have the infrastructure."

    "Peaceful and vast campus located in a very busy locality. I have enquired for my kids admission for ukg. I felt positive after interacting with school staff. School infra is in par with international standards. IB is taught here till fifth grade and there after you have an option to choose CBSE. Big playground with marathon ring is attractive. I have committed to join my kid. 02 feb 2021 Update: i really appreciate the commitment of the management to deliver best to the students amid the pandemic situation. My daughter studies in SrKg and all the syllabus is covered well and the teaching staff is patient enough to conduct virtual classes to the kids."

    "GJR International School (2023-2024 Academic Year) I enrolled my daughter, at GJR International School for the 2023-2024 academic year, hoping to provide her with a quality education in an IB environment. However, our experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. Firstly, GJR International School does not appear to offer a true IB curriculum, as advertised. The structure and approach to teaching were far from what I expected from an IB institution. Instead of fostering inquiry-based learning and encouraging creativity, the focus seemed to be on rote learning and pressuring students to perform at high speeds. Most troubling was how my daughter, who is a bright and thoughtful child, was treated. She faced constant pressure to complete tasks quickly, which caused her unnecessary stress. The school's handling of her struggles with writing speed was particularly upsetting. Rather than providing the supportive, individualized approach that the IB philosophy promotes, they seemed to ignore her emotional well-being and failed to analyze her learning style appropriately. This lack of understanding and support not only affected my daughter's academic performance but also caused her considerable mental distress. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to watch her lose confidence in herself. The absence of a proper assessment of her learning needs made it clear that the school does not take a holistic approach to child development. In conclusion, GJR International School was not the nurturing, progressive environment I had hoped for. It was not a proper IB school, and the treatment my daughter received was not only disappointing but harmful to her growth. I would not recommend this school to other parents who want a compassionate and thoughtful educational experience for their children."
