National Public School, Koramangala was founded in 2003 under the chairmanship of Dr. K P Gopalkrishna. It follows in the footsteps of National Public School, Rajajinagar, National Public School, Chennai (both established over four decades ago) and National Public School, Indiranagar (established in 1982). The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the national body of the Government of India for Secondary Education. It is run by the National Education Trust, a linguistic, regional, minority institution that focuses on providing quality education.
The National Public School family is a vibrant, thriving, and diverse community of children, parents, and educators. All are united with an ardent desire to help students reach their full potential. The institution strives persistently to create an atmosphere of safety, harmony, and cordiality where youngsters can interact, share, and adapt themselves to varied backgrounds. In the classrooms of NPS, children traverse through the realms of knowledge, chisel their communication skills, soar high with flights of imagination. On its grounds, they happily gambol, create and shatter records, dissolve mutual differences, and strike lifelong friendships. In its corridors, they learn self-restraint and become disciples of courteousness. In its portals, they open their hearts and minds to the unknown and march together to realize individual and shared goals. Our scholars are thus intellectually and emotionally stable world citizens who not only excel in academics but also don the role of social change makers with their developed sense of empathy.
