The Sri Kumaran Children's Academy is a constituent of the Sri Kumaran Group of Institutions, managed by the Sri Kumaran Children's Home Educational Council. The institution was established in 2013 and offers classes from grade I to X. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Kumarans have been providing excellent education for 64 years, starting from 1959 when Smt. R. Anasuya Devi founded the institution. Over the years, the institutions have expanded and developed into various schools, one of which is the Sri Kumaran Children's Academy. The organization, led by three generations of remarkable women, has overcome numerous obstacles and emerged successfully.

Our school aims to provide high-quality education and overall development to each student.     "This is for anyone considering applying to this school in the future. Don't worry if you're unable to submit the application—you’re actually saving yourself from the stress of the entire process. Even if you do manage to submit it, the school rejects most applications before even interacting with the child. There are plenty of other good schools in the locality, so you can skip applying here altogether. Our Experience: We applied because it’s known as a good school in this locality and is just 500 meters from our home. However, the application process turned out to be incredibly stressful. We managed to submit our application right at 10:00 AM, but our neighbor, who tried just 10 seconds later, couldn't get through. The stress didn’t end there. We noticed that some of our child's playschool classmates started receiving interview dates the following week and even went through two rounds of interviews, while we heard nothing. After a month, we finally received an email stating that our application had been rejected—without any explanation. Meanwhile, a friend of ours, whose child is the same age and has a similar background, was accepted. The only noticeable difference between us was our salaries. Perhaps that was the deciding factor. Looking back, we’re truly relieved that we didn’t get in. We found a much better school—one that prioritizes each child’s growth, potential, and individuality rather than making decisions based on their parents’ degrees or income. I wouldn’t want my child to be in a school that places more value on money than on the child’s development and well-being."

    "My son got admission to the 1st standard. The overall admission process went smoothly, and every step was clearly explained to us. This time, they conducted a school tour as well, giving all parents a chance to see the school’s infrastructure. The admission process took around 20 days. Thank you, Kumans, for giving my son the opportunity for admission."

    "For grade 1 exact 10am I tried to submit button but its showed full. I feel Online application is just formality, before last date only they have finished their admissions that’s why online it shows full. Try only pre nursery. Nobody gets seats online. Bcz it’s just formality to show people. Disappointed. And we were waiting for online application and I heard some people completed their kids admission. How it is possible."

    "Being a Bangalorean I knew how the school is but today all the impression that I had about the school just vanished. One of most arrogant people just at the entrance. They don't know how to talk to people. They don't care even if they loose one or two admissions because of their arrogance. I visited the school today in order to enquire about the admission and wanted to see the school so it would be easy for me take up the decision but we were literally kicked out of the campus saying "just go and see in the website". If the faces of the school is like this I doubt about the values that they share to the children. I wasted my time going to this pathetic place. I wish I had an option of giving it a zero star. This school definitely doesn't deserve the hype."
