Established in 1904, Rosary Convent High School began its journey in January of that year with 60 students in the Tamil medium and 50 in the English medium. Over time, the school gained recognition and prestige, achieving official recognition in 1925. The school celebrated its centenary with year-long festivities starting on January 26, 2003, culminating in a Holy Mass and Valedictory Public Function in January 2004. Rosary Convent High School is a minority institution managed by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, part of the Catholic Church. The school is dedicated to character formation, academic excellence, and the holistic development of mind, body, and soul. For nearly 120 years, it has consistently served society by nurturing and shaping the lives of countless young girls, inspiring them to become confident and empowered women of the future.

    "The worst school ever . The teacher's behavior towards the students is rude and they only focus on selected students and wantedly point out students who are weak in studies . Students who are good at studies bully the students who are not good at studies . I am saying this because I have seen my classmates bullying others and teacher's don't show any interest instead they foolishly support the one who is bullying. The teacher's here are having unnecessarily attitude ."

    "The worst school possible belives doesn't care of other religion only belives in catholics wrong impact on students about religion differentiating on the basis of religion is not correct and at such yound mind giving special treatment to catholics just imagine if a Hindu school gives priority to Hindus and neglect other religion there will be a huge dispute so I don't suggest this school at all"

    "Very good and reputed school in the city. Very helpful staff and ever encouraging head mistress. One request, It would be very helpful if the management considers having the school run on alternative Saturdays (with working Saturday as full day) so this helps the students avoid the polluted traffic, stay home focus on pending school work, reduces the congession atleast on these routes. This will also bring down the management overhead on closed days."

    "I don't like this school at all as there are more cons than pros the school just focusses on studies no holistic development of the child here, second the school is so late in giving holiday orders if it's raining very heavily and that day was exam sister didn't declare holiday and postponed the exam there was not even a prior message that was sent so poor management. The sister keeps the exam just as we finished the 1st term but on top of that teachers pressurise with a lot of activities and projects when should the child study for exams . This is my honest opinion about this school"

    "Sharing my honest review to help other parents who are contemplating about this school for their Daughters. * Fee structure is affordable as compared to other schools. * Despite of overcrowded classrooms with more than 50 students in each class, teachers are aware of the overall performance of each student and regularly share feedback. *The school offers a humble infrastructure with digital classrooms but poorly maintained washrooms that are rarely cleaned. I once even complained about the lack of cleanliness to the headmistress Ms Bindu but she said that this is how the school has been since ever. *Teachers beat the students often. Even the students of kindergarten are not spared. Your complaints will only lead to more harrassment of your ward. * Basic amenities like filtered water is also not available for the students. * There is no importance given to extra curricular activities. Competitions and fun activities are rare. If you are looking for holistic development of your child then this is certainly not the right choice. * Though the fee is less, they keep asking you money every now and then. * Last but the most important concern is that the children bully other children in the name of religion. I was appalled to see that 6 years old were picking up friends basis religion. Teachers are least bothered if your child is being bullied. As the cons outweigh the pros, I have changed my daughter's school."
