"Date- 11th September 2022 Theme- story telling Narrator - Mrs. Gauri Bakshi Timing- 10am - 10:55am Today's session was wonderful ,amazing and a very informative session especially for the theatre aspirants. Mrs.Bakshi knew very well how to use her body , gestures, intonation and her expressive eyes while narrating the Story. She gave an exemplary demonstration that one could use one's body as one of the most beautiful resource to express oneself and connect with the opposite person. The session was not just about story telling but about integrating the other disciplines that a child would come across in his or her life. It touched upon Nature, language, Inter-personal and intra- personal skills. The story line very simple but yet very impressive. Thank you Mrs.Gauri and your partner for that informative session. The session ended with a question and answer session where students were given ample chances to ask their queries and a child did narrate a short story too. Also I would like to thank Mrs. Nidhi, the anchor and moderator for giving us this opportunity to witness a session that is one of its kind. "Date- 4th September, 2022 Day- Sunday Theme- Calligraphy Conducted By- Ms. Qamar Dagar Timing- 10:00 am to 10:45 am Founder and CEO- Skoolz It was a wonderful free online session of calligraphy conducted by a renowned personality Ms. Qamar Dagar. She taught the basics of Calligraphy for instance how to hold brush, how to make stokes, how to write someone's name in beautiful pictorial calligraphic form. She taught that *Calligraphy* is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a pen, ink brush, or other writing instrument. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner". She told that calligraphy continues to flourish in the forms of wedding invitations and event invitations, font design and typography, original hand-lettered logo design, religious art, announcements, graphic design and commissioned calligraphic art, cut stone inscriptions, and memorial documents. The session was very helpful for the students especially for the creative ones. The session ended with a question answer round where students were given ample chances to ask their queries.
