Jain International Residential School (JIRS) was founded in 1999 by Dr Chenraj Roychand, as part of the Jain Group's efforts. It is one of the most dynamic, flourishing and ambitious co-educational boarding institutions in India, with over 750 students enrolled from Class IV to XII under CBSE, IGCSE and IB curricula. We serve a diverse group of students from various social and geographical backgrounds, including Germany, UAE, Thailand, Africa and Nepal, among others.
We have invested substantially in creating a campus that combines traditional Gurukul setting with cutting-edge modern infrastructure facilities, aimed at building an atmosphere of creativity, innovativeness and intellectual independence to make students courageous, aspirational, boundary pushers and global leaders.
Our holistic approach, broad curriculum with competent and exciting courses, personalized learning supported by dedicated and well-informed faculty make JIRS an exceptionally vibrant academic community.
In addition to academic excellence, we have numerous departments, associations representing various disciplines, cultural and social unions, student community and sports activities mentored by 36 national and international coaches, making JIRS a veritable beehive of activities.
Integrity, responsibility and commitment are the foundational values of our school. We aim to develop in every student a sense of self-belief that would help lay a strong foundation for their successful career ahead. JIRS is guided by a team of distinguished leaders, teachers and administrators who have steered this venerable institution through both turbulent and exciting times, making it a perfect choice for the new generation of learners.
