Seshadripuram Public School is located in Yelahanka New Town, Bengaluru-64, and is considered one of the best ICSE schools in North Bangalore. The school is situated in a serene environment away from the chaos of the city, yet it is still within city limits. The school is affiliated with CISCE, KA122, and has been offering co-education from Montessori to Grade XII since the academic year 2002-2003.

At SPS, we believe that the primary school years are crucial in shaping a child's personality and potential. Children start with us as toddlers and leave as young adults, having gained a love for reading, a fascination with numbers, and a desire to learn. We foster a learning environment that encourages exploration as the best way to learn. For example, nature study is taught through growing flowers and vegetables or bird watching, mathematics is learned through actual measurement and estimation, and communication and language skills are developed through storytelling, story reading, and writing original stories and poems. The joy of music is discovered through full-throated songs, listening to tapes, videos, and live concerts. We also explore different regions and cultures through stories and project activities.

Our objective is to nurture a strong sense of community, justice, and fair play in our children. We provide them with the opportunity to learn and express themselves in the ways they enjoy the most, applying their learning to diverse and challenging situations to reach their optimal potential. As children grow older, they are exposed to the achievements and challenges of science, the successes and failures of social institutions, and literature that tells more than just a good story. They learn to debate convictions, acquire mathematical skills, and learn that hard work is just as important as talent and skill. They learn that success is never easy.

We aim to provide an environment where learning happens in response to an awakened interest and curiosity. We try to ignite the child's imagination with the best of nature, giving them the opportunity to express their own thoughts and feelings, which helps to dissipate frustration and anger. Lastly, we keep testing to a minimum. Exams are meant to find out how much the children know and not to scare them into doing what they otherwise dislike.
