Is CBSE and West Bengal state syllabus the same?
No, they are different.
CBSE is an education board for private and public schools under the
Ministry of Education, Central Government of India. West Bengal Board is an
education board for private and public schools under West Bengal State
Government.
The CBSE syllabus is recognized all over India. Students can migrate
within the country or across the globe and still enjoy the advantage of a
uniform syllabus. Being in a CBSE school helps them adjust to the state boards
comfortably if they choose to migrate.
There are overall six subjects to choose from in High School in the WB
state board and CBSE.
What are the benefits of the CBSE syllabus?
All engineering and medicine major exams are conducted or driven by
the CBSE. Even the NEET exam is its syllabus based on its pedagogy.
This board is very student-friendly and has a well-researched syllabus
by its subsidiary NCERT. Parents also prefer reputable CBSE schools due to

Class 12 students need to qualify for specific bridge examinations like IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, and many others of the same type, depending on which universities follow.
